Congratulation W&PY

One wedding that i had really waited for a very long time had finally arrive. This wedding is a must-not-miss wedding of the century. hahahha.. i am exaggerating abit. No lar not some super model or super star wedding.. it is my "sifu-in-tricks" aka "brother" aka "mentor in MIP" aka "tutor" aka "talk-all-nonsence" aka .... (too many cannot list all) wedding. I was just too happy to see them so happy..So now let us put our hands together and welcome the star of tonite Mr. and Mrs. (Ivan) Wang. *yeah yeah*
On the nice cool morning 8.45am we leave from BB to the brides place in Semabok. Reaching, we (the groom+hengtais) sat outside while the parent of the bride to do some prayers. 5 games and we manage to get the bride. 1st was guessing lipstick on paper or else coffee with egg(???), 2nd was the kissing on tissue to form names, 3rd is the singing session, 4th the ice-coffee-with-key and finally as we enter the room, is to find the bride's shoe. For the first time i had choose to be the "hengtai". Although i am invited to be the "jimui" but i choose to be "hengtai" because i had never been one! Basically i just stand and watch. :P
This wedding has so "much-much-flower-image" they have their car tied with the "just married" sign and the tin kosong at the back. They release 1 pair of dove but 1 end up leaving some "gold" on the bride's gown for good luck!
We follow the car to the Stathuy clock tower and took some photo then rush back to the groom's house. They were suppose to reach by 11.30am. Thank God everything went smoothly or else this CPY will surely grumble non-stop. She is basically a perfectionist. After all the tea ceremony, JaMi went back home around 3pm and sleep. hahaha....
At 6.30pm we reach at the hotel EQ. Wishing there is something i could do.. but none. watching the groom so kan cheong walking up and down... sweating!! OMG. so kesian... so kan cheong. The bride was already at the cocktail session showing of her tailor-made-beautiful blue gown.
As I walk into the ballroom, i was so amazed with the gorgeous back drop. It was so grand as though i am walking into a grand concert hall.
After cocktail, i help the bride to chance into her earlier white gown. (yes she complain again about the "gold" on her gown - basically this "lau ah ma" nvr stop complain) i told her no one is going to stare at her gown and notice it.
They get prepare and the dinner start on time at 8pm. First walk in was the parents of the groom and then followed by the parent of the bride. Finally follow by the bride and bridegroom with the same song as mine when i march in. *reminds me of mine* hehehehe....
Around 3rd dish, they change into a different set of clothing. Yellow-sparkling gown. They walk into the dance floor and move 2steps followed by the group of dancers. The couples then get back to their seats. i was thinking they will perform for us. it would be great. :P Since then, the dance floor had never been empty.
Lastly the bride change into an elegent-black-bare-back cheongsam. Gorgeous! With her "mo kui sen chai" she looks just like a super model. Ok not to forget the groom was also not bad. this is my first time seeing him dressing so formal. He basically just change his tie (i think) Who would notice the groom rite? at least not me... poor thing.
All the dishes were superb. delicious. i think EQ had did some improvement here. but still the service is not so good. The night end very late. Partly also we stay until nearly the very end. Finally their bud grows into flowers. Just hope that the seed will grow more flowers soon. :) Congratulation W&PY !
